Each year, a small number of scholarship programmes by the Canadian government are offered to outstanding students.
As well, some Canadian institutions offer entrance scholarships based on financial need to international students
demonstrating particular academic distinction. Further information can be obtained by contacting the financial aid offices of the respective universities and colleges. The Ministry of Education in the international student’s home country can also provide information regarding financial aid and scholarships that may be available.
